The other weekend I sat down and watched all three episodes of The Triangle back to back.

It's a 240 minute long 'made-for-TV' Movie for the Sci-Fi channel which predictably wasn't the highest quality , but the idea behind it and the way the film came across was not that bad at all.

As you guess from the title it was about the famous legend that is the Bermuda Triangle or is it? Now I don't want to give away any spoilers , but it is a film that keeps you thinking and is very entertaining if you like this sort of thing.

The main plot behind the file is when a shipping company hires five specialists in various fields to investigate why his ships where disappearing, each member would get paid 5 million dollars if they brought back the reason why. Most of them are currently having bad time within they current job/role so you can guess it's all jump time for them. It would be nice one day to see film that actually goes against the norm and predictable line?

The acting in general is OK, but a couple of the characters are let down a bit and also in one sense this film or mini series is too long. It should have been just made at film length and not cut into three episodes that were shown on the Sci-Fi channel, but it may have been my fault for watching them all back to back.

All in all it's a good watch and well worth it on a cold and wet weekend, but if it was hot and sunny then go cycling instead.
